    A AfroEscola é uma iniciativa cidadã e autônoma, composta atualmente por um espaço sociocultural e por atividades e ideias inspiradas nos movimentos por “um outro mundo possível“ (Fórum Social Mundial).
    Materializou-se em junho de 2013 mas atuava anteriormente, em formato itinerante, desde o ano de 2008. Acredita profundamente que os saberes e as filosofias cultivadas e desenvolvidas no continente mãe e na diáspora podem contribuir para a (re)construção de uma contemporaneidade mais harmoniosa.
